1/ Everything that was right about the post World War II era (alliances of cooperation etc.) they’re tossing aside. Everything that’s an obsolete perspective left over from the 20th century & totally inapplicable to the 21st (racist,imperialist tendencies etc) they’re shoring up.

2/ There’s a deeper virus than just a biological one here. More like a virus in a computer, disabling our operating system, inhibiting our moral functioning, unraveling the philosophical underpinnings of the American ideal and confusing the American psyche.

It's becoming more and more apparent that so long as there exist nationalist ethno states that refuse to uphold the fundamentals of basic human rights (read: China, SA, et. al.) that the "one-world" globalization experiment we've tried will continue to fail. We aren't ready.
