Truth. I live by the golden rule and I’ve taught to my children. It’s plain common sense and civility. Respect for all people and all things. Respect for What you own, where you live, our planet.. everything. Simple.

"someone else will" And the last 50-70 years are basically Capitalism in a world where no one trusts anyone else not to cheat/exploit and everyone agrees rich people should stop cheating but no one wants to be the chump that doesn't cheat while everyone else cheats.

The Golden Rule isn't so absolute. What if someone welcomed and enjoyed surprise back and neck massages from strangers? Or what if someone really did not like hugging, even acquaintances, but many of their friends loved hugs and followed the Golden Rule?

So, I let people do with their liberty what they will as long as they don’t damage me. I look to common law practice to understand what constitutes damages as the education-entertainment-political-industrial complex only implies we all get free stuff for nothing with fairy dust.
