It’s not enough to just fight what’s bad. We have to proactively produce what’s good. Politics isn’t just about saying “No” to what we don’t want; it’s a collective action to create a better world. What isn’t getting better is getting worse. It’s ours to decide which it will be.

In America alone: Abolition, women’s suffrage movement, civil rights movement, labor movement, marriage equality etc. We all need a big history class. It’s not like our ancestors were just a bunch of dorks who weren’t as smart as we are and never did anything. It’s our turn now!
