I told Trump he had harnessed the power of fear (bigotry, racism, hate) for political purposes, and we would defeat him by harnessing the power of love (decency, dignity, compassion). Our task is to answer collectivized hate w/ collectivized love. I also told him love would win.

You imply that Trump's support arises, fundamentally, out of hate, indicting the character of his supporters, without nuance. This is bigotry, and therefore a rather vicious self-parody.

Not at all. I know some very wonderful, loving people who support him. I just can’t help but wonder sometimes whether they have taken a deep look at some of his policies and how they effect people. Not covered much on Fox News.

Sincerely, I cannot read "I just can't help but wonder" as sincerity. Also, this Fox-news-controls-their-minds trope, alluded to even obliquely as here, is poisonous. Finally, Trump's support is fundamentally not about policy.
