It's not the rate it's the target. Taxing capital is like taxing seed. Every dollar stolen in taxes is actually all the jobs and products that that dollar could have grown into. Tax what is taken out of the engine of production instead.

The top tax rate in the 1950's during the Eisenhower years was about 91% ... Today the richest 400 families pay an average of 23% ... while many households pay at a rate of 24.2% ... a higher tax rate than the 400 richest families ... Think this should change?
