2/ Right now our biggest hope and greatest power lies in supporting progressive candidates in down-ballot primary races. There are some great candidates and we need to support them. Spread the word.

3/ We can still break the chokehold of the corporatist status quo. We need to pivot from anger & frustration to motivation & intention to challenge them & win. It’s going to take work but I know from experience that the voters are ready. Progressive candidates just need your help

4/ We need an emotional & psychological shift. The answer is standing right in front of us in the form of fabulous candidates who, if they had enough money and volunteers, could absolutely amaze us in their primaries and beyond. They need an army of helpers and we need to form it

George Washington was a traitor to his rightful king. Then he created a “democracy” in which only lang owning white men over 21 could vote.

1) the progressives are pushing for government power and tyranny. 2) the primary concern of the founders was not having a democracy. they feared democracy for its reliance on common people, and the effects they predicted happened. the primary concern of the founders was freedom.

Really, people? The first thing you do is start arbitrating the Tyranny of a king from 400 years ago And the legitimacy of the revolution. We’re kind of past that. Why criticize someone for trying to do better, just because you have nothing better to do.
