The Prime Directive is to protect the rich from the unpredictable peasants, as well as to transfer wealth from the little people to the billionaires. You will never see this Regime help its citizens. They will spend 10 times as much to deny help than offer it.

Exactly. I've spent the money to have skills to have my job that I'm good with, been working during the pandemic and havent taken any time away except my brother's funeral in December. Going to have salary cuts, stop accruing retirement or PTO for months for State to save money.

I feel like this is going to lead to people going homeless or going into debt until the eventuality of home ownership devolves into work provided housing, much in the same way that healthcare in is the US.
