Trump has ushered in an age of political theatre and we won't be going back. Trying to defeat him with washed over talking points dressed up to sound like major changes will not do the trick. Democrats can have an amazing win in 2020, but only if they're willing to be amazing.

I don't have any power over the Democratic platform, but unfortunately what's in the platform may or may not align with what the nominee actually does once elected. The platform is important, but we're going to have to show real political teeth that goes way beyond just that.

You mean once we have defeated TRUMP, we need to work with the newly elected government? We need to rally sheer numbers, I think. We need to incite new voters and young people. My son is 25 and very aware.
