Even if we're only speaking in crass political terms, how can the Democrats think all these incremental efforts are going to inspire anyone? It's like trying to sexually seduce someone with new office equipment.
I am voting no on the rule. We have a healthcare crisis yet no expansion of Medicaid or Medicare. FDR didn’t talk about employer retirement accounts. LBJ didn’t talk about voting rights in some precincts. They would have scoffed at Cobra to private companies. Need bold leadership

They aren’t trying to sexually seduce anyone - they have made it clear the method they support is RAPE

I am certainly not inspired, I find it depressing.

She slowly opened the printer. Ran her hand down its length and ever so gently pried the resistant cartridge from its depths.

See @RoKhanna aren't you glad I pressured you? It's much better to stand with real progressives to try to build power than vote for a bill you know won't pass. I hope you vote no on the bill too and not just the rule. That will be a harder vote for you but one we will champion.

Marianne love your pasion. Democracy is incremental. How does democracy go into overdrive? Come November a landslide victory taking both chambers & POTUS. We can make it happen by staying focused & united.

The Dems still haven't figured out that it is not about converting (R)s or even (I)s. It is about turnout of (D)s. I'll always remember a street interview with a Milwaukee man who said "I've been voting Democrat for 40 years and I'm still poor. What's the point?" Nutshell 😳
