It’s actually not shocking. The government repeatedly gives our money to wealthy corporations that harm us. Sallie Mae was bailed out, but I could not get a deferment on student loans when I was unemployed for medical reasons.

This is insane if true, which it likely is given state of economic equity in USA, and, sadly, frankly not surprised one iota. Marianne, you are so right when you say our society needs to xray and deep cleanse so many pets of structural inequity in r systems. #COVID19 #economy
