There is no such thing as “well regulated” capitalism. Capitalism by nature is predatory.

Conceptually I don’t agree, but it almost doesn’t matter at this point. Crony capitalism - untethered to any moral or ethical sense of responsibility to people, planet or animals - has become a destructive force that now threatens our survival.

Private ownership and wage slavery are two completely different things. No, I don’t believe private ownership is inherently predatory. But wage slavery obviously is!

Private ownership by itself is predatory, as it necessarily extracts the value that employees work to create, like hospital administrators get rich off the labour of doctors, and school administrators get rich off the labour of teachers.

Employing someone is not inherently exploiting them. There is such a thing as righteous profit when people are paid fairly and are free to set their own terms.
