$2k/mo while this lasts isn’t only what people need right now; it’s what people will vote for! Kinda-sorta-better-than him is not enough to defeat him. When things are dramatically horrible, have the guts to counter with something dramatically wonderful.

When did doing the right thing become something that required guts? Why? Fear mindset? Thank you @marwilliamson

When doing the wrong thing became backed by such gargantuan economic, media and political forces.

Respectfully, this isn’t how it’s done. Elections present a finite choice. It’s always a choice of who is the better of the group. Real change happens at the grassroots level by influencing those IN office to adopt that change. Trump can’t be influenced. Biden can.

Still no 1st stimulus check. Weren’t they supposed to go out to every tax paying American? For gods sake, all my out of work friends in Ireland have been receiving the dole for a couple months already. American government is disgraceful. Wonder how people are getting by at all.

Many aren’t. And that’s the tragedy.

Are you implying that Biden is "dramatically wonderful"? If so don't you think the bar is set "dramatically low".

Democrat leadership looks out for their big donors...not the people, although their rhetoric claims otherwise. This is what happens when politicians end up in powerful government positions by dialing for $ 24/7...they are owned.

When millions of people desperately struggle to put food on their table- It is clear $1,200 is not relief. Instead, it sends a loud message to the “average” American ... We don’t care. Thank you Marianne for caring and leading us out of darkness with grace. #directcashrelief
