These one-time payments don’t allow anyone to relax even if they take some of the edge off. What don’t these people understand about $2k a month for as long as it lasts? Our govt is so miserly to the average American and so generous to the rich ones.

And where exactly do you think the $2k per person in the US so approximately $656 billion every month is going to come from? Do you not realize that the government will get its money back by raising taxes on everything after this is over?

Start by repealing ‘17 $2T tax cut, where $.83 of every $ went to richest corporations &individuals (put back the middle class cut).Some call that raising taxes, but it’s just stopping a bleed created by taxes having been lowered that should never have been lowered to begin with.

The $2T tax cut was for every individual. The rich corporations and people didn’t just become rich over night they worked for years to raise their income level. Why should they have to pay higher tax percentages than the middle class and lower class?
