How is it being dependent on government when it’s our own tax money? When $500B is given to big companies who don’t even need it, why is that considered a reasonable bailout but giving #directcashrelief to individuals an example of a Nanny state?

No, those bailouts were given with no requirement whatsoever that they use the money to pay their workers. And no American citizen should be forced to choose between their livelihood and their health, needing to go back to work in a medically risky situation.

Sad to break it to you, but maybe do some research about how many jobs are saved by those bailouts. CEO’s, certainly! I would have been fine if the $ was required to be paid to workers. And of course we want to work, but no one wants to die.
