Your vote cannot be suppressed if you registered to vote and go to the poll in your district and vote. They don't suppress your vote, the only one who can suppress your vote is you.

In 1965 we passed the Voting Rights Act to ensure blacks in the South would have equal access to the polls. It kept our voting rights intact, but in 2015 the Supreme Court started chipping away at the Voting Rights Act. Since then voter suppression efforts have been rampant.
