We know who he is, so much so we don’t really need to keep talking about it. The real question is who are we? Are we a generation of adults committed enough to do everything necessary to defeat him - and his political phenomenon - at the polls in Nov & then restore our democracy?

Good question. Can we make this a one term presidency? But restore democracy? Just electing a new president won’t do that by itself. Even the “restore”’part is questionable. Look at the state of our “democracy” going back decades! Racism, sexism, voter suppression …

I just don't feel like continuing to do the same thing over and over again and getting nowhere is really working. It doesn't matter if we play the DNC's game or not. They hold the cards. We have no leverage.

3/3 I keep hearing people say "if we support them they'll make concessions to us." But they don't. They never do. And more to the point, telegraphing to them that we'll give in no matter what they do; that's clearly not effective.

The polls are joke unless everyone gets a mail in ballot. Long lines and closed stations make it an unfair and un democratic ~Especially in a pandemic. Have we learned nothing from the primaries?

Let me be clear. If the Democratic Party wanted to win they would simply adopt a M4A platform. 70% of the population supports M4A, including 38% of Republicans. Done deal, would win in a landslide. The Democratic Party isn’t trying to win.
