1/ $500B in bailout money went to big businesses who weren't even required to pay their workers with it. So it amounts to a bailout for only the stockholder class, while millions of others are thrown crumbs on which it's almost impossible to live.

2/ I feel compassion for people protesting to go back to work, when they see no other way to pay for rent and feed their families. The irony is that they're protesting people trying to save their lives, when who they should be protesting are those who are destroying their lives.

You nailed it: the US Congress is failing American labor. They gave the donors trillions in free money, and made sure labor remained distressed, & in precarious enough position, they’d have to return to work for inadequate pay, no benefits, & often, the worst healthcare.

That’s what they can’t see!! They are blinded to the very fact they are being manipulated. They somehow feel it is their civil duty to not be supported in this time of crisis, but for them to have to risk their lives in order to make a living during a time that is impossible. 🤷‍♀️

Everyone I know, everyday, without fail, at some point, says to a friend or relative or stranger something along the lines of " Can you imagine how awful it must be to live in the States?" and "they're crazy" and "I'm so glad we live here". Every day. You hear it everywhere.
