There's a lot of talk about America going down, not being the first class nation we once were. But this course-correction had to occur. We're seeing what's so wrong so we can make it right. Losing our grandiosity we'll reclaim our grandeur. In the end we'll all be better for this

I am going back and forth with some people on a pro Biden thread. As a Bernie supporter, they assume I am 14, but I’m 53. Lots of lecturing about the Supreme Court and working your way up through the party, because that’s the only way to exact change. That hasn’t worked out

I agree. They assume you're young and they assumed I'm lightweight. You're right in your analysis - if you just "work your way up," then you become one of them while you're climbing! But I'm still voting for Biden if he's the Democratic nominee. For me there is no other choice.

I agree with this, Marianne. I think you make a much better teacher than Presidential candidate.

It is time to turn the page. Our generation is being asked to write a new chapter in this ongoing storyline of history. A narrative of love, mercy, justice, reverence for each other and the planet on which we live. We can do this. We will do this. Of this, I am certain.
