The answer is not to reopen the economy; it's to freeze the economy. The government should provide everyone with the economic wherewithal to survive this period without leaving home. It's criminal to make people have to choose between their livelihood and their health.

Where is organized labor on this?!! If everyone stands together and refuses to go until the immediate danger has passed, no one would have to be sacrificed. This takes POLITICAL COURAGE.

This just doesn’t seem realistic. You would somehow still have to get enough food to people. Keep electric companies operating. Keep water and natural gas companies operating. We (unfortunately) have a society that is very dependent and overpopulated
