The answer is not to reopen the economy; it's to freeze the economy. The government should provide everyone with the economic wherewithal to survive this period without leaving home. It's criminal to make people have to choose between their livelihood and their health.

In Europe most of the lockdowns are stricter than in 🇺🇸 However we live it in a much better way. Why? Bc we all have national healthcare, solid unemployment system. So the problem in 🇺🇸 is not the lockdown but that the gvt doesn’t provide the help to survive through this pandemic

Independent run! This is a winning issue. Trump wants to let us die quickly. Biden wants to let us die slightly less quickly. Marianne Williamson is seriously the only public figure I hear calling for the moral choice to stay shut down AS LONG AS IT TAKES.
