Americans have been trained over the last few decades to expect so little from govt, propagandized to believe govt actually helping them is a bad thing. It’s a tragic surrender to corporate control & a betrayal of the ideal of govt “of the people, by the people & for the people.”

1) i had 2 share this pic, it's a favorite. Conservatives push the socialism vs capitalism bs when WE KNOW they go hand in hand... We make trillions and how it's spent matters. During the industrial revolution change was wanted& needed. Which inspired people like Karl Marx.

Not right now there isn’t! This isn’t theory we’re talking here now, this is people’s’ lives. Ventilators. PPE. Medicine. Real financial bailout for the average citizen, not just for huge companies.

I supported UBI during my campaign and I support it still, but it’s not the be-all and end-all that’s going to make all things right. It’s just a piece of the solution, and without the other pieces it’s not enough.
