Americans have been trained over the last few decades to expect so little from govt, propagandized to believe govt actually helping them is a bad thing. It’s a tragic surrender to corporate control & a betrayal of the ideal of govt “of the people, by the people & for the people.”

True, and the more your attention is devoted to the issues of basic survival, the easier it becomes to accept the narratives. It's a soul crushing ride, always accelerating toward a place where awareness and free will does not exist.

Federal government doesn't deserve 30% of our taxes. What does its citizens get from their government? They don't tackle any of the longstanding issues, climate change, D- infrastructure, they know how to buy and make weapons and we shouldn't fund that for them anymore.

It’s not the amount of our taxes that’s the problem, it’s what they’re doing with the money. Too often they give our tax dollars to huge corporations so they can rip people off even further. It’s a political-corporate matrix that won’t end until we get the money out of politics!

“The main division today is not between left and right— The main division today is between democracy and anti-democracy.” It’s time for the people to step in.

Yep, the idea there isn't enough money/resource to go around is insane. Example of extreme wealth & poverty in the U.S. alone proves our economics is outdated. UBI Universal healthcare Develop green energy/jobs Equality Act Arts in Education a good start toward equal society.
