A virus isn’t the only thing that can harm a person’s life; so can poverty, hunger and unsustainable despair. If we had a bailout that enabled people to survive for the duration of this crisis, they wouldn’t have to be choosing now between their health or their livelihood.

Just let people go back to work. Quarantine the vulnerable and open the economy. Allowing big business to stay open and shutting down small businesses is not helpful. Walmart, Lowes, Target, etc.they are all packed, everyday. Yet the local gym, or restaurant is forced to close

Unfortunately capitalism has always had collateral damage.. we have entire industries filled with undocumented workers for profit...So this mindset in wake of a pandemic isn't surprising. The elite will gladly accept 100k deaths if their profit margins rebound

I believe the term you are looking for is #SocialSafetyNet The idea that offering people a way out of poverty & despair is somehow toxic, encourages people to be lazy & not work, is exactly what dragged the USA down into the dirt and will eventually destroy it completely. #pity

Indeed. I've lived through that despair. It's horrible, no way to live. We can definitely do better...

Do you agree with the Green platform and consider running as their candidate?

Putting stimulus money in people's hands CAN sustain an economy through a crisis. Dispersing it to the top is futile and ignorant.
