A generation shallower and more entitled than any generation in American history is now called upon to become deeper and more compassionate than any in American history. And in that odd, ironic way that history has of making strange and wondrous turns, I think we’re going to.

It is going to be interesting how this year will be discussed at the Christmas table. In Australia we've had catastrophic bush fires, then floods, then COVID. By Christmas, our new normal will feel like old normal was a distant memory. And the US will have had an election.

Speeding along in a motor boat across a lake it’s hard to see very deep. Slow the boat down and it’s easier to see into its depths. The pandemic is forcing us to slow down. What a wonderful opportunity to look deep within and find insight and guidance.

I am about to turn 24. I work as Cna for the elderly. I think things will change as they always do with death stepping in and hopefully them resting peace. We have to get the idea that we are constantly changing. Its the passing of time.
