The only way for capitalism to survive is if more people who are capitalists access their conscience, and more people with conscience get access to capital. #repairamerica

Capitalists can’t access what they don’t have. And capitalists sure as hell ain’t giving up a penny of their capital without a fight on historic levels. Let capitalism die.

How do you think we’re going to just “let it die?” Couldn’t we just start with regulating and taxing it properly? What is the alternative – to storm the Bastille? That would only bring a fascist blowback. Not the result we would have in mind.

We need a movement toward democracy in the workplace, which would require taxation and regulation. Ignoring a facist blowback is important. You’re right. I guess I worry that fighting hard to “save capitalism” might actually hurt worker rights in the long run.

I worry that the fate of America will end up needing capitalists to end up making the right choice, and I don’t have much faith in capitalists making a choice in favor of the American worker.

You and I are comrades though Marianne, brother and sister in class consciousness. we both have the same end goal of true worker empowerment. Getting to that point is what us on the left like to debate.
