Look at these pharmaceutical CEO salaries and look at the millions of people who have to choose between food and a life-saving drug - then tell me this is not capitalism gone amok. American capitalism must claim a conscience and our government must claim a soul. #repairamerica
Pharmaceutical CEO salaries: Merck: $55 million Pfizer: $50M Eli Lilly: $30M Johnson & Johnson: $26M AbbVie: $23M This greed must end. The function of prescription drugs must be to protect and improve human health—not make corporate executives unfathomably rich.

Neither will happen because our system will not allow it. The ruling class will force us to biologically modify our bodies before it acknowledges the need, let alone follow up on the necessity, of having to change our economic system, national culture and social behavior.

Having effective forever patents by US Gov helps enrich these companies. How can one pretend that government does not encourage and support this through regulation?

This is not American Capitalism, it’s crony capitalism, opposite of a truly free market.

Ridiculous. It is important to keep people well attended and happy, even for the sake of those corporations and their owners. Whom do they make those millions from? exactly from the very same people they are neglecting and humiliating. ENOUGH!

What does their salary have to do with people not getting live saving drugs? Unfair? Yes. What other connections is there?

What does that mean in terms of policy, just in case your followers got past 5th grade? Nationalization of perhaps the most successful industry (in terms of saving and extending, improving human lives) in history by price controls and management by morons?
