3/ Today it’s not enough to be fiercely protective of our own children; we must be fiercely protective of everyone’s kids. Only if we expand the circle of our compassion to include every child will any child stand a reasonable chance of growing up in a peaceful world.

I think of all those pink hats, and not 1 demand - not overturn citizens united, not end all corporate lobbying in Govt, not Medicare for all, no demands... women have been trained to be too polite, I’m over it.

My dear Mom who I was lucky enuff to be w/ to “help” the last 5 years of her 94 years, thought the pendulum swung too far the other way regarding women. “Everything exacts a price” she would say. I was the youngest of her 5 cubs & she was my best friend. I miss her Marianne.🙏❤️
