The sneaky part is, if these employers insist on a pay cut, is it really a job offer? @gm made their staff take pay cuts. Probably now lower than UI/CUA benefits.

I agree our governor is foolishly opening back up business and in the same breath telling us to wash our hands and if we don’t go back to work we will be fired if we’re scared and we won’t be able to qualify for unemployment, this as our cases of coronavirus are higher than ever.

This is what worker and class oppression looks like. There will be a lot more in the near future. Hoover called out military against veterans asking for early benefits. washingtonpost.com/news/retr…

Where is the humanity in the current crop of elected officials? It's gone, gone, gone. The select few who have managed to hang onto a few shreds of feeling get it squashed by their parties. I am 66 and have never seen this lack of care towards the ppl. Ever.

It’s the people who need to vote with their feet. Don’t go to the gyms. Don’t go to cafes. Don’t go to the restaurants. Don’t go to the shopping malls. Think and stand in solidarity with your fellow brothers and sisters.

That's how governors deal with their serfs. We need to change government.
