1/ We're living at a time of planetary emergency, when we urgently need to address climate change, wealth and gender equality, sustainable agriculture, nuclear power, science, AI and more in ways that should have been addressed systemically for the last 25 years.

2/ When this phase of the crisis ends we'll need to hit the ground running."This phase" because COVID is part of a rolling planetary crisis that's simply begun to reveal itself to more people. We have solutions & the problem-solvers; we need to turn solutions into political force

3/ It's not just traditional political & economic resistance to change, or even $ in politics that's the problem. It's old thinking, our resistance to change, & our codependent relationship with a system that has failed us miserably but rewarded us just enough to keep us seduced.

Because Trump is so dangerous. I see the political parties like two broken arms & two broken legs, but the Trump administration like a bullet near the heart. First things first. If we let Trump win again, we'll have a harder time dealing with the broken arms and legs. Much harder

You've been around a long time, like me. Yes, Trump is horrible environmentally, but that is really the only difference between the corporate parties. They campaign as progressives and legislate as conservatives.
