We need a political agenda based not on corporate imperatives of short-term profit but on moral imperatives of long-term good. And we need to be people wise enough and strong enough to turn it into political force.

Yeah if we could maybe stop shoveling money to billionaires and giant corporations while poor people starve and die because they can't afford medical care that'd be good.

A beautiful sentiment for a beautiful future. But the assholes worship money and power too much. Never gonna happen without deep-rooted changes to the underlying mindset of society. That takes generations. Do we have that much time? It's hell of a tough sell!
