Patterns of nature mimic themselves on all levels. Just like we give birth to a child we give birth to a better world. First we conceive an idea, then it gestates within us & then we give birth. Use this time to conceive a new world. What is it we imagine? What do we really want?

I teach my classes to study parallels between the epistemological development of an individual from infancy to adulthood as mapped against our species since the dawn of consciousness til now. Chariots in the sky, monsters under the bed; the notion of freedom. Place us on the map.

I saw an image of sidewalk chalk that read: “Stop imagining the apocalypse. Start imagining the revolution.” That made my heart swell.

A world where Mother Earth is given the gratitude and respect She deserves...Where people make choices that align with their best interests, and make amends when they fall short and harm self and others...Where children and particularly boys, but all kids, know love and respect.
