It would literally be an improvement to have a president pushing crystals, orbs and homeopathy than one pushing for bleach injections and heart-attack inducing drugs that lupus patients actually need.

Let me make this clear. I have a 35 year career & it has never once - not once - included pushing crystals, orbs or homeopathy. It has however included a lot of nonprofit work helping people with AIDS, terminal illness of all kinds, homelessness & poverty. In case truth matters.

That's fantastic. Note that I didn't say you did. I was making a broader point about sexism and quack cures in America. About those vaccines, though. Because anti-vaxxers and their enablers are a huge public policy problem in California.

Oh wait. You’re saying the things you’ve said about me ...and then decrying sexism?! And I am not anti-vaxx either. You’re reaching here. After the opioid crisis, how anyone can defer blindly to Big Pharma is beyond me. My policy as a candidate: facebook.com/207697880579/p

It was a whole thread, but yes: my point was that people taking Trump more seriously than you is a product of sexism. As to the rest...opposing vaccine mandates and saying "we need more science" is classic merchant of doubt stuff.

Attorneys General all over this country have indicted big pharmaceutical execs for known predatory practices that led to the opioid crisis. How anyone just assumes they’re pure as the driven snow when it comes to every other area is ridiculous. I’m not the anti-intellectual here.

because the science around vaccines is incredibly well established, the benefits are obvious and the side effects are minimal. This isn't pharma industry propaganda. We have all the studies we need on this subject. And it's REALLY important right now as we seek as COVID vaccine.

I don’t know if you have children, but $4B in damages paid to vaccine injured or killed children is not “minimal.” And the science is NOT well-established. That’s the point! The same testing standards are not applied.

I have two young kids. I get them vaccinated right on schedule, just as I keep my own current. I understand the (very minimal) risks. It's worth it. The science is *extremely* well established. We all do our part for herd immunity. You could help.

Replying to @DavidOAtkins
I could help with a lot of things. But it’s odd to ask someone to help after first insulting them and vilifying their career. Anyway. Let’s hope Biden wins. Maybe start including, not excluding other liberals tho okay? The circular firing squad is not a winning strategy. Be well.

Um let me just drop this here. Pandemic or not, who thinks its a good idea to fast track? Didn't the guy just say vaccines are well tested. Again, not science, but public policy. theconversation.com/the-us-i…

Amazing grace while dealing with this guy. I can't even look at his avatar anymore without being fully tilted. Keep up the good work, MW.
