People of color dying from COVID at disproportionate rates should surprise no one. “There is something we can learn from this” completely disingenuous; food, environmental justice, educational & healthcare disparities all stem from old economic disparities. CASE FOR REPARATIONS

Specific tangibles for Black ppl (descendants of slaves or foundational Blacks)? When other plights or gripes are dealt with. They are directly addressed for who they are. Such as illegals or even LGBTQ. Now everyone wants to infuse others into our dynamic with wordplay & tricks.

Your post is appreciated, but we prefer "black people" or descendants of american slaves so people truly understand.

Good thing we've been spending the past decade talking about symptomatic microaggressions instead of organizing to dismantle the root causes of white supremacy. But that would involve humanizing racists as politically redeemable.

Attention All: it’s no secret that “people of color” is a Jim Crow era term that white supremacists seek to normalize in their push to Make America Great Again. If you use POC, you’re a white supremacist. Now you know. So stop 🛑 using POC.

I’ve said many times I’ll vote for Biden. But Dems too often not doing the right thing because “we can’t win with it” is a mentality that has destroyed the moral authority of the Dem Party. Reclaiming that authority is the key to winning, not losing broad scale electoral victory.
