I hear you, but I don’t think it’s exactly that people aren’t angry. I think it’s that things are so confused in people’s minds that they’re not connecting the dots. They’re angry but displacing their anger, too often unable - or unwilling - to see the real source of the problem.

Yes. You are correct. People are angry but feel helpless. No matter how many times I call my rep, nothing changes. (granted my rep is Rep. I feel quite sure @RepKatiePorter is listening to her constituents). Personally, I'm ready for a revolution of love that starts America anew.

Cognitive dissonance. As a society we've been programmed to be mere consumers in a codependent abusive loop. Sure we complain, but by default sit on the couch, order a pizza and watch Netflix. We have the power. What's it going to take?
