Much msm media today functions less as independent watchdog & more as propaganda arm for their respective party affiliations. It’s gaslighting & leaves people subtly mad, the way you feel when you know somebody’s telling you a lie but you can’t quite put your finger on what it is

It allows for every nutjob idea to be believable. It allows for con artists to flourish. If the ones we rely on are liars and gaslighters, then nothing is believable and anything is believable

Before the 1990s the same company was not allowed to own a town’s TV station, radio & newspaper - so that diversification of opinion was guaranteed. Corporate conglomeration of the news should be outlawed again. It monopolizes information, freezing out independent thought.
