I agree with Chomsky.
"Failure to vote for Biden in a swing state amounts to voting for Trump." In an interview with me, Noam Chomsky compares the #NeverBiden ppl to Communists in the 1930s who refused to ally with social democrats against the Nazis: "We know where that led."

I respectfully disagree with you and Chomsky, Marianne. It's not about Arithmetic, it's also about Morals, and perhaps more importantly, Strategy. Voting for yet another Corp Dem will not only ensure a dormant Left but guarantee we won't succeed anytime in the near future.

I see it the opposite way. If Trump wins, I fear a suppression of all kinds of political activity. We should not underestimate what he would try to do with a second term.

Suppression like a rigged primary that guarantees his reelection (indeed, elected him in the first place)? We've already lost it. The Democratic party isn't protecting us from being suppressed. They are taking an active role in it. All you want to do is tug on a leash.

Thanks for the response. I agree we shouldn't underestimate Trump, but we also have to keep calm and strategize. We cannot let our fear of him blind us to the fact that the DNC is using that same fear to suppress our mvmnt. 'Occupy' suppression happened under Obama, after all.

Continuing to ALLOW the DNC to make us swallow our INTEGRITY .... Is ending in 2020. Fuck around and find out! #FAAFO

And if that happens, will we fight harder, will the Democrats finally fight against Trump instead of voting with him to please their mutual corporate masters? That’s what I’m after... a fight. If Biden wins, it’s political snooze time for well to do liberals while we suffer.
