The Declaration of Independence says God gave us “unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” That governments are instituted to secure those rights, and if government is “destructive of these ends” it is “the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it.”

My point is that Americans have been trained to be complacent, to forget the radicalism of the American experiment in self-governance. We do not owe it to our government to go along with systems of injustice; our right to vote is our right to make that clear.

This explains your point. I agree with the voting premise, but i wouldn’t say Americans are complacent. I’d say uninterested in true civil discourse and nuance is a better characterization. Debate is the quintessential way to move forward. A lot of good will come of this. #Watch

Absolutely. It's like we've been sedated & have forgotten the principles on which we were founded.

Complacent? No... I disagree with that. It's suppression - by the GOP, who are afraid of losing their grip on power & by extension, their grip on feeding their greed. The #Resistance isn't complacent. Also, you're not helpful in any way.

Yeah, I’ve posted and tweeted out the second part of the declaration many times. Trust me, nobody cares. #OurCristoFascistGovernment
Voting can no longer be counted on as a way to bring about change. Our courts are an illegitimate partisan mockery of Justice. That leaves box number 4.
There is no explicit right to vote in the Constitution.

The right wing arent complaicent... they're out there demonstrating their right to their own version of the constitution. Sadly and just like much of the bible the constitution can be interpreted for good or ill.

How do we peacefully empty the White House Are there any military generals who would like to see some revolutionary change? Can we throw peaceful ideas around in a safer environment

So your 1st tweet was supposed to be an exhortation to govt? Because it read like a call for armed revolution.
You’re just now figuring these things out?
