He didn’t simply say he has absolute power. Now his name will be printed on every bailout check, and there are tens of millions of Americans who are literally going to think he personally sent it to them. Don’t kid yourself; they’ll want to vote for him in order to say thank you.

It’s beyond “At this rate he’s going to become a dictator.” He’s in the process of becoming one now. Maher says he’s afraid he won’t leave the WH but it’s beyond that already. He doesn’t plan for there to be an election. He’ll say he’s using his emergency powers to “postpone” it.

The scariest part of course is how many Americans would think that’s a good idea. He will at least float this idea at some point. Our greatest hope at the moment lies with Republican senators who know this is true & will find the courage to act. I think there are a few who might.

Please stop the political crap. There are only 2 groups on Earth. Those working towards 'best possible outcome' and those working on creating 'worst possible outcome'. China delayed disclosure - whistleblowers informed world. WHO downplayed. World Leaders relied on WHO guidance

Luckily it's up to Congress to postpone a general election, which is handled individually by the states with the electoral college. If nobody is actually voted in by January 2021, then Republicans won't like the outcome, because Speaker of House Nancy Pelosi would become POTUS.

Unfortunately I feel Congress & SCOTUS won't try to stop Trump's emerging dictatorship. Hope rests with the Governors and Constitutional Amendments passed by the states. Remember, the Sovier Union also collapsed. The US might dissolve too. But still vote while it's possible.

If this was the end of his second term I could see him pushing for something like that.....but it would be pretty risky for him to pull a stunt like that when going for reelection, an election that he will probably win anyway

You were a presidential candidate. Please be a little serious and responsible with what you say.

Disappointing Marianne, this is retarded hysteria and those on the right who enjoy your occasional America First sentiment only find such extreme rhetoric a reason to solidify behind Trump

I don't think he'll postpone. He's pretty confident he'll win and unless something changes I'm pretty sure he will too.

So you're saying that quoting the Constitution in order to keep states from abusing the rights of citizens is dictatorial. . . .🤔

Soooo those crystals you were using aren’t helping you at all, then...

This is beyond insane!! I hope some of the Republican Senators take a stand! This cannot continue! We need to know this money did not come from him! He is trying to manipulate and control the opening of economy. It’s all about his wants and needs! This is dangerous! Pay attention
