As infuriated as I get by public officials who are handling this pandemic irresponsibly, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude & praise for those who are stepping up to the plate. America is showing the best of who we are as well as the worst of who we are. What an extraordinary moment.

This is what I know. When we are in the midst of, or after a time of great devastation and painful loss, I've found leadership and inspiration, not from governments, corporations steeped in wealth or even the invisibility of faith. I see it in people of all ages, around the globe
