At a time like this we need the Post Office more than ever. It’s an essential connecting link between us and goods and services, and with each other. That we don’t mess with the postal service is a fundamental American value; this is bigger than it appears.
So let me get this straight: We can afford to give airline companies billions in bailout even when they’ve spent billions on stock buybacks, but we can’t afford to bail out the postal service?

No. The Post Office should have been privatized and left to fend for itself long ago.

The Post office isn't going anywhere. It will be around long after Trump is gone. Congress oversees the post offices per the US Constitution. The public outcry would be deafening if the Post office was to close. Trump will back down on this.

The Postal Service in its current form constantly wastes. Unionized Govt. workers, high pensions & constant cost overruns make it a completely separate issue that should be dealt with using a CLEAN BILL & future accountability.

Absolutely. The Post Office is a necessity.
