I think there are many sincere Christians in America, just as there are sincere Muslims, Jews, Buddhists and every other religion.

But that’s the beauty of religious freedom. The fundamental principle in the United States is that people are free to practice any religion, or no religion. There’s something very profound about that to me. Everyone gets to make their own choices and the law respects that.
