I want to see a virtual press conference where 25 most powerful masters of universe - that’s you, Jeff, Bill, Jaimie et al - announce your desire to see a direct $ bailout to all US citizens. Your charitable contributions are appreciated but you know they don’t change the system.

Hoover's approach to the onset of the Great Depression was for charitable organizations to take care of the problem. We know how well that worked. Charities can't begin to match the resources and distribution of the federal government -- at least, the way FDR structured it.
