The most vile and insidious obstruction to America’s forward movement over the last few decades is how certain forces have convinced millions of Americans that expecting and accepting less, even to the point of their desperation and death, is somehow the patriotic thing to do.

I read that 50 MTA workers in NYC have died from CV19, (NYT) yet they still work. The mentality is similar to sending 19 yr olds to the front line with a message that they are the most brave, and will die in glory; yet I haven’t seen stories of valor about them.💔💔

Wasn't "manage the decline" the theme of Obama presidency? Anything better than managed decline was unattainable magic wand stuff...

It's amazing how "All hands on deck" has crept into the daily vernacular. The ruling class hangs out in comforg, while you're being told to sacrifice your safety for Society's sake. A religious paradigm superimposed on the poor to maintain the easy life for the vampire class.

What strikes me and 100 % agree is "convinced millions of Americans" It's beaten into everyone. In corporate policy, employee handbooks, healthcare, education, even in organized religion. NOBODY should receive less than quality healthcare, food, housing. It's not right.

How many times do we have to learn this lesson? "They" always just reset the system to fail "us" again, we must evolve our financial systems.

We can not remain blinded to the greed, deception, oppression and. Manipulation that is taking place in this country! They bail out the corporations and throw crumbs to the people. Don’t they realize if the people don’t survive and thrive their corporations will ultimately die 2.

If we do not reject Joe Biden the next Trump will be worse and the next Joe Biden will be worse. Breaking the cycle is painful but necessary.
