Today is rent day for millions of Americans & that’s not an April fool’s joke. Without more than a $1200 one time payment coming in, millions don’t know how they’re going to pay the rent & also eat. There were already 40m hungry people in the US. Food shortages are rushing at us

Old people who live alone, who depend on others shopping for them who aren’t now available to do so. Multiply that scenario by millions & that’s what we’re dealing with. Our political leaders should be talking about this. It’s not just the virus: there’s much attendant suffering.

Millions of old people w/ caretakers not coming in, some barely able to move, many looking at a loaf of bread & wondering how long it will last. There are many heroes showing up to take care of people & we all have to be among them. Govt now at a fraction of proper response level

The problem is we're expecting federal government to be an altruistic body instead of realizing it's been perverted in to a mechanism for people to get rich off the work of Americans. The sooner we rely less on centralized government, the better off as individuals we'll be.

I have to disagree. I have noticed that the more government gets involved in things, the more convoluted and corrupt they become. To that end it would behoove people who value their individual freedoms and inherent rights want to limit the reach and scope of federal government.
