Today is rent day for millions of Americans & that’s not an April fool’s joke. Without more than a $1200 one time payment coming in, millions don’t know how they’re going to pay the rent & also eat. There were already 40m hungry people in the US. Food shortages are rushing at us

Old people who live alone, who depend on others shopping for them who aren’t now available to do so. Multiply that scenario by millions & that’s what we’re dealing with. Our political leaders should be talking about this. It’s not just the virus: there’s much attendant suffering.

Millions of old people w/ caretakers not coming in, some barely able to move, many looking at a loaf of bread & wondering how long it will last. There are many heroes showing up to take care of people & we all have to be among them. Govt now at a fraction of proper response level

For most, $1,200 won't pay the rent for one month, let alone food, utilities, etc ... This will probably last at least until September and may even come back again next Spring, unless there's a vaccine ... So, a one time payment of $1,200 isn't going to do much ...

Another thing I'd like to mention, Why is the government not informing people about how to build up your immune system with Vitamin C, D zinc and Elderberry (what I use.) Most of the people dying already had bad health. Where is our preventive healthcare system?!

It’s hard to live on disability in a life younger than 55. Age restricted communities are more affordable, but I’m only 49, so I’m forced to pay market rent, $1700+ per month SSD doesn’t cover it. Food, medications, insurance, cell phone... it doesn’t stop. #RentFreeze2020

the world has essentially stopped. if people aren't getting paid, neither should landlords. it's quite simple really

which is why National Guard has already been deploying. They're ready. This govt has been ahead on preparing for what we'll be seeing before long. Sadly.
