We need to balance the demands of the free market with our need to provide for the common good. Over the last 40 years a gross imbalance, fed by unlimited corporate money in politics, has placed outsized power in the hands of an amoral financial matrix. Balance must be restored.

This must be how we evaluate candidates from now on, and we need to demand this from candidates. Truth, compassion, and a focus on people not big donors.
