Trump’s win was shocking but not surprising to anyone really looking. People felt legitimate economic rage; they knew the system was rigged against them.Trump named that rage & so did Bernie. Someone who refused to even name their pain had no chance in ‘16, nor will they in 2020.
He was all rhetoric. I was at your book tour in Seattle in 2008 and walked out when you started telling that large audience that Obama was the savior we were waiting for. I could hardly believe you couldn't see through his lies.
