Every American should receive $1800 every month as long as this lasts. No American should be charged for healthcare costs. And no American should have to worry about rent or mortgage til this is over. THAT is a bailout. It's also how to save our lives and the election in November

To validate your point @marwilliamson my first thought when I saw $1,800 was that I鈥檇 be happy with $1,200 if they continued it for 6 months. We ask for too little. I know I always have.

Gosh, Marianne, it's like you want our government's decisions to be based on what would help people thrive! 馃槈馃槉

This is all well and good, but you would have to create a massive separate treasury or Fed Facility to make those payments in the interim. The system isn't designed to have people all stop making payments. You'd freeze the capital markets and rates would skyrocket.

Because money grows on trees. Simpleton. The fact that you have followers scares the shit out of me. Wealth is more than printing money, fool.

Just put off all the evictions until after eh? The mass wave of mortgage defaults when people are unable to pay the debt off because they are already drowning in debt *going in*. People will by dying by suicide instead.

Curious about how you came up with $1800. The $1200 figure equates to a little less than what a $7.25/hr minimum wage worker earns in a month. Car payments, all the various insurance premiums, cell phones, cable/internet, gas, food, utilities can easily exceed $1800/mo for many.
