Humanitarian efforts take generosity & selflessness. I live in a very tiny apt complex where a greedy owner has raised rent over 10% every yr for 3 yrs with bare maintenance. However, I bet my rent will be raised again without any consideration...even thru this crisis. It hurts.

No kidding. I missed a week of work because of a flu. Now I'm back to being "essential", and short on rent... Definitely not cool, for my family. I don't qualify for the $1200 joke, either. And job just cut my hours down... Fun... Sigh

You realize that the $1200 figure is based on the national minimum wage of $7.25 for a month which comes out to about $1160 pretax!FDR set out the minimum wage to be a way for people to have a living wage but it has not kept up with the times. Worth paying that money in our taxes

It鈥檚 really no deal for the $1200 per month considering the source of the income which is the average tax payer. plus we get the privilege of building out corporations summer film don鈥檛 need squat! It鈥檚 all a sham and it鈥檚 wrong! The government Is screwing its citizens!

At some point in time when this reaches in Apex or Ponit where people could no longer take it there will be a revolt because there will be no other option! Peoples lives and livelihoods are at stake the federal government is weak and responding to its people!
