This is the coming-of-age event no one saw coming. It’ll be hard to retain a politically immature perspective after this, to assume we’re protected from any manner of other disastrous possibilities either. From nuclear safety to environmental safety it’s time for a whole new way.

For years we’ve been whittling away at public investments in things that provide public safety. Creating short term corporate profit superseded long term protection of the common good; public safety has been sacrificed at the altar of corporate gain. This will stop if we stop it.

A new way will require we look inside. Real, lasting, meaningful change will only change when we do. Now is not the time to be hard on ourselves or each other. Now is the time for kindness and nonjudgmental understanding. To truly know the better nature of our hearts.

Let's start with love & kindness, humanity first. People need reassurance & hope in valuing themselves, their power as well our collective power. Every one of us has something to contribute, valued presence. Our choice; negativity vs positive polarity. We are a common collective.

There's no safety in nuclear plants that can't operate safely, even shut down, if all the staff fall ill to epidemics. No nukes!

People We Need a #Masks4All movement in this country.. The Czech Republic successfully flattened the curve with this nationwide initiative... in public EVERYBODY WEAR A MASK TO PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS

We'll have this struggle as long as there are people who can't experience compassion, sympathy, or empathy. These values can be taught but for some - teaching just doesn't take. ✌🇺🇸

Could we start by moving all the nuclear waste sitting out in the open waiting for any kind of disaster to yucca mountain finally?
